William Astle

Dr Astle is a Senior Lecturer in the MRC Biostatistics Unit in the University of Cambridge.

Before that, he was a Lecturer in the Department of Public Health and Primary in Cambridge, and a postdoc in the Department of Haematology.

He has also worked at McGill University, Montreal and at Imperial College, London. He is an NHSBT affiliated scientist and his work is supported financially by NHSBT. He has expertise in quantitative genetics, statistical modelling, Bayesian methods and bioinformatics.
