Hayley Evans

Programme Manager/Researcher

Hayley is a Programme Manager and Researcher working on large-scale health informatics projects. She’s currently part of the Hame-Match team, supporting the Transfusion Dependent Anaemia Health Informatics Collaborative (TDA HIC) theme. Her work involves onboarding new sites, managing governance processes, bringing teams together, and helping to facilitate the collection and processing of patient data for large-scale analysis to support impactful research and better patient care.

With a PhD in Immunobiology and a background in translational neuroscience, Hayley brings a mix of skills and experience to her role. She’s involved in several research programs focused on aligning hospital and patient data for better insights. Based at the University of Oxford within the Blood & Transplant Research Unit in Data Drive Transfusion Practice, Hayley has published several research papers and is passionate about contributing to advancements in health data science.
