Sara Wright

Sara joined NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) 13 years ago and has held various roles after having worked as a Biomedical Scientist. She has completed the STP training in Haematology and Transfusion gaining HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientst. After her training she embarked on the Higher Specialist Scientific Training (HSST) programme, obtaining a Doctorate and becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists. This qualification enables her to practice in her current role as a Consultant Clinical Scientist in the Red Cell Immunohaematology Department at NHS Blood and Transplant.
