Orod Razeghi
Senior Research Software Developer
Dr Orod Razeghi is a senior research software developer in the Department of Haematology at the University of Cambridge. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Robotics from the University of Nottingham, followed by a PhD in Information Technology from the same institution. His doctoral research was dedicated to the advancement of "Human in the Loop" algorithms, specifically focusing on interactive methods of object recognition for medical applications. Orod’s primary interests revolve around the development of sustainable software packages that employ machine learning algorithms for medical data analysis. His expertise extends to the domain of interactive image processing, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms for analysing medical images. During his time at King's College London, he successfully developed and implemented research software that played a role in preprocedural planning for clinical trials. Prior to his current position at the University of Cambridge, Orod served as a senior research software developer at University College London.
